Error when confirming email

I have just registered a new account. I click a link in email, but get this error:
500
Internal error: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading '_id')

Is creation of new accounts disabled?

Might just be an error with confirmation emails

I tried to confirm the email with the same browser I play the game and it worked.
