      I understand that this bug has still not been fixed? In addition, I understand that it is still possible to use the 3pw or bonus tiles terraform action without building a mine, which is again contrary to the rules. The rules are clear that the action is to build a mine, with a bonus terraform included. If you don't build but use the tile then you haven't taken your turn.

      The formulas are: prob = 1.0 / (1.0 + Math.pow(10, ((opponent.elo - player.elo) / 400))) deltaElo = k * 3 / (numPlayers + 1) * (wlt - prob) The player's winning probability against the opponent is prob. wlt states for win - lose- tie. Can be 1 - 0 - 0.5 For each player we calculate the deltaElo against each opponent. If the player and the opponent both dropped, the deltaElo is 0. If the player dropped, his wlt is 0, regardless of the score. Therefore the player loses k * 3 / (numPlayers + 1) * ( - prob) Elo points. If the opponent dropped, the wlt is 1, regardless of the score. Therefore the player gets k * 3 / (numPlayers + 1) * ( 1 - prob) Elo points. If the game is a dropped game (i.e. someone else dropped), the deltaElo is 0. In the other cases we calculate the wlt base on the scores, and the we get the deltaElo. Back to your questions. You are right. If you are not the only one that dropped, you save some Elo. That's why we introduced the ability to cancel a game. If someone dropped and the other players don't want to finish the game, they can cancel that game. In this situation only the dropped player will lose the Elo. Anyways, dropping is not an option to save your Elo. Let's say you have Elo 200, and your opponent has Elo 400. In a 1vs1, after your 20th match, you are getting 15 Elo points if you win. So, it's difficult to go up, but in the long term you will reach your Elo. I hope this helps!

      Thanks for the answer. I guess it's actually clear from the rule #2 of the official FAQ, I had just missed the that when it says the new satellites cannot be adjacent to your other satellites and planets, it specifically refers to the ones in existing federations, it's a big distinction as opposed to being next to any planet that's not meant to be part of the newly formed federation, which is how I had assumed it was meant to be. When reading it again now, it does make sense that the federation on the screenshot isn't legal.

      Gotcha. I didn't mean to be rude with my reply. Sorry if that's how it came across. =) I tried your second suggestion (reset via iOS) and that seems to have resolved the issue. Not sure what the issue was, but I am logged in on my iPad on Chrome. Thanks for the helpful suggestions. =)

      @JamesWolfpacker The timezone adapts based on your computer. If you set a game to run between 5 and 8 PM, someone in another timezone 3 hours away would see the game running between 2 and 5 PM. There's no need to do any conversion on your part.

      I Agree with ElTemblo, is an easy implementation that can be realized with some flaggable options like this: O Allow automatic charge 1 O Allow automatic charge 2 (-1VP) O Allow automatic charge 3 (-2VP) O Don't charge Players, only during their turn, can always flag/unflag every options that allow to charge something when they know that the charge can be usefull or not. With this system you can allow only the charge 1 power, or charge 2 power but not 3, and so on, in every combinations. Only "don't charge" is the option that close every other possibilities. Another implementation can be the number of times you can allow a charge. For example: O Allow automatic charge 1 (All - 1 time - 2 times) O Allow automatic charge 2 (-1VP) (All - 1 time - 2 times) O Allow automatic charge 3 (-2VP) (All - 1 time - 2 times) O Don't charge "X times" is the number of players in that game.

      By the way, the "Your turn" was added in the sidebar :) With the favicon changing, it should be enough for now. Sound notifications don't work anymore for the most part because recent browsers block them (because of malicious ads...). Push notifications are an option worth investigating.

      It should be mostly fixed now. Yes it was due to a big update (testing 6nimmt), we had to make some changes in regard to game/site interaction. And it worked on chrome! ... ^^' Anyway it should be alright now.

      I'm in complete agreement here. It might lead to dropped games, but honestly dropped games happen anyway. I think I've only completed two games where at least one player hasn't dropped, and one of those was a two-player game. And honestly, it might prevent dropped games. People drop games when someone else is taking a really long time and then they forget about it or lose interest. If it gave us the option for 5 minute (or even 3 minute?) turns, it would deter people from joining who don't want to play until the end, thus making it easier to complete a game without a drop. I'm curious to know what percentage of 3+ player games are played to completion without any drops.
